Beyond MLM

Are you a consultant for a MLM wine company.
The most common ones are

  • The Traveling Vineyard
  • Wine Shop at Home

To earn money with these businesses you need to sell wine, either vai a website or via tasting parties, or recruit other consultants to do this for you.

The second part is Multi Level Marketing. You recruit a downline and then train them to sell the product. You then get a small commission based on their sales. If you have a large enough downline of active consultants those small commissions add up to a big check.

This is a very good business model but it fails for many people. Why?

Basically MLM consultants often fail because recruiting a suitable downline is hard work requiring special skills, techniques and personality.

Author Ann Sieg argues that many MLM’s give their consultants bad advice. She spent many years in several MLM companies until she decided to break out and try her own methods. Her free book 7 Great lies of Internet Marketing tells you why.

I’m collecting survey information from consultants in the Traveling Vineyard and Wine Shop at Home. Participants in the surveys will be given free access to the information generated.
